Almost losing the remnants of the mind after playing MgSv, I decided to get distracted by something else in time, the game. Tax-taks, what’s here with us? Fallout 4! Ahaha, let’s see! I did not expect this game at all, because I have long lost all faith in Bethesd`. And given the first trailer with a plasticine dog and demonstrations of gameplay with dialogs on four cardinal points … Moreover. But, on Braybie and Cancer, fish. And glory to you, Almsivi, unlike MGSV, I, in principle, did not expect anything from this game, and therefore absolutely all its shortcomings, without difficulty I saw in the first ten gameplay, did not plunge me into the abyss of hopelessness. And I write this material because I am very touched by the topic of Fallout`a, Betzds and Falluts from Betzda, as well as numerous disputes and rampant fans on this score. I am also embarrassed by all those people who speak high about Fallout 4. The idea of this article was not quite in the assessment of the game, but since I will call it shit, many will ask why. Therefore, I have to go through all my claims to the game.

And the first thing you want to say about is the technical component. No matter how Betzda swore the freshness of her technology, she has no faith and never will be. Day or evening outdoes landscapes of wasteland look good, but nothing more. But I was the wildest surprised, finding that not a single mirror in the game reflects. But the horror begins when we find various outdoles and rooms, which clearly shows that Betzda still does not know how to dynamic lighting, in 2015. But having entered Indor, the lighting is already much better, it is understandable – it is not difficult to arrange shadows under static light sources. However, this is “not difficult” for FPS more powerful than Outdor, without drawing cells and loading the Land Distant, as it is incomprehensible. About textures, I think, it’s worth silent at all. Of course, the game leads a gloss with modern shaders. And all this business manages to eat a huge amount of resources. With unreasonably long loading, you think you are familiar.

The first thing the player faces: with the tie and the main characters. There are no many words here, the plot sucks. I have always been a supporter of the assertion that “the plot is not the main thing in RPG from Bethtesda”, however, this does not mean that it needs to be ignored over and over again. The only funny thing here is the moral choice between the implementation of our own beliefs and the support of the work of our child-giant-growing child. Although, in truth, there should not be any choice at all, especially given the rage with which our protagonist is looking for his child, he must definitely take the side of the institute. Imagine you are a beginner in this world. You have a choice: your dear son and life in high-tech bunkers of the institute, or life in post-nuclear self-building in the middle of unknown people.

But if the institute or brotherhood still has the right to exist (although, in my opinion, the sterile and high -tech institution is already too much for the Follout universe. Biobots? Teleportation? The voice of the protagonist is still an ambiguous thing, someone liked it, someone-no. Together with the voice acting, a certain production of dialogs appeared, akin to the one that was in Mass Effect. As for me, this is a good venture, and it is removed by modes. In the same way, the moron console wheel is removed with mods and the display of full replicas is restored. But what to never fix – the structure of the dialogs itself. 4 replicas to the stage, epic "sarcasm", as well as "uncertainly" and "more", lack of replicas by skills, characteristics or perks, almost complete independence of the outcome from the said words and low variability. But the worst thing for me personally is that it is not known which of the replicas will irrevocably advance the dialogue forward without the ability to ask another question, and which will leave it at the current stage. Take care of making convenient dialogs in 2015 – this is necessary to try.
Role system. Well, congratulations, Todd, you killed her finally. You can forgive the changed rules in F3, where the role system was forced to be sharpened under the Tes`a mechanics, but why was it so idiotic to do everything? The skills are gone, the parameters of Special are pumped and now the initial choice does not affect anything, and the good two -thirds of the perks – useless garbage. At a certain moment of the game, I found that I just have nowhere to put glasses from the levels, because I have already pumped the necessary and useful and useful to me. There were many useless perks in the third part, but here is still worse.

He is very dull. I, a man who completely cleaned Skyrim and Fallout 3, dropped this game somewhere in the second third of all the content. Seriously, many scolded F3 for endless metro lines and ruins of the city, but Boston … In it you can wander forever without hope for salvation. This city is the most dull part of the game. Absolutely the same templates, doors, walls, corridors and so on. And everything is clogged by enemies: super humans, raiders and other scam. And since now it is a shooter, the number of enemies of past games of Betzda can be safely multiplied by three. This game turns into routine very quickly. For on the way you will definitely clean all the locations found, clean every corner, each box, every safe or container. And all this must be hacked. Hack. Seriously why there are so many castles? Please tell me who locks a first -aid kit and other things that do not provide? And most importantly-the usual consumable nonsense is almost always hidden behind all castles, which after some time simply does not need the player. Imagine, if at Borderlands, almost the entire loot was locked.
In general, it turns out that there is too much content in the game. Is it bad? But the content is the same and boring, and all this is too tightly concentrated in Boston. Clean the next dungeon to scoop up a bunch of consumables and all kinds of garbage that you are unlikely to use – a typical lesson in F4.
Endless enemies, endless and useless loot, endless radiant of the quest. Behind all this, that small good part of the game simply fades.
Crafts, building, equipment
I will immediately express about the construction of bases, settlements, cities. I will not say that this is definitely bad, it does not interfere with the game as a whole, there are lovers of this thing – and good, hell with it. But, after all, man-hours that could go into a more important channel were spent on this thing so doubtful in RPG. Just think.
Kraft (and modifications) first seemed to me crooked, stupid, awkward. But over time, I got used to it and understood how it works (the local interface is in many ways), I even liked it. And the search for the desired garbage adds complexity and task, especially at first, when we still have little raw materials, especially rare and very necessary. But there is a couple of linings. Namely: the developers who make us a shooter do not know how the weapon works. For example, how the muffler increases the return, if he must do the opposite? How is the alteration of semi -automatic weapons automatically reduces its damage if the caliber remains the same? How the hero manages to make collimator and holographic sights (electronics), and indeed sights, from garbage? How he generally makes the details of factory quality from garbage using a conventional workbench? As for me: crafting modules only for home -made weapons, everyone else should either be or buy from professional masters in cities equipped with the necessary equipment.
Now about the equipment. I was very pleased with the multi -layer system of worn things (as in Mordovond, wooh!). But here not everything is so smooth. Why, for example, on a shirt and pants, I can put on elements of armor, and I can’t be on any other costumes, like a classic? Why are the dimensions of the dressed elements of armor depend on the models of clothes dressed under the bottom of clothes, and not on the dimensions of our character? Why, damn it, a blue-three-throat suit can be stitched with armored vehicles, but there is no black? Religion does not allow, or what, Todd?
And most importantly – arsenal. He is damn small! And I mean firearms! Thank God, cold, explosive and energy here,. Remember the arsenal of the firearm in F2, there is no half of that variety. And half of what is – modified variations of the other half. I can’t forgive this in a role shooter, a bold minus.
Interface
One worst things of this game is an interface that is more an enemy to a player than an ally. In F3, we had a good find in the form of a peip-boy for all needs: statistics, equipment, magazine and maps. Here, Pip-Boy navigation managed to make worse. The interface, that is, all kinds of windows and their management for me, as for a PC-Gimera, is disgusting. Problems with scrolling lists, excessive number of navigation buttons, small windows, which are forced to euthanize the long names of objects and the most wretched: a holographic translucent image of objects in the inventory. The combat system
Many note improved shooting. And it’s really difficult to refuse this game. That’s just. As for me, the core of the F3 and New Vegas combat system was not in real time, but the VATS system.

Betzda does not want to correct the mistakes made in F3, so the whole world looks like the war passed a couple of years ago and now you can profit from the remnants of civilization. Why still so much good lies in the vastness of the Wasteland? Why are the huge buildings that are huge for the settlement of the building? Why in the presentation of the crushes of the “City” these are with a dozen houses, in which a dozen homeless people live? And not that Betzda did not know how to make normal cities. I can remind me of cities in Mordovond? Huge, with a large number of NPC and populated environs. One is worthwhile (yes, I know that he is just huge, but boring and empty, however, creates the right illusion). And if we technically cannot demonstrate a big city – showing it part by creating the illusion of scale, as it was with the capital of Mordovond or limited affordable space on huge bases and cities in Mass Effect. In the yard 2015, and the situation has become worse. Let me remind you that 200 years have passed since the atomic war, and we have already seen such large settlements as New Rino and NKR. But for some reason, the metropolitan wasteland and the Commonwealth deliberately bypass natural social and technological processes.
Atmosphere

Time to summarize. And it can be fitted exactly in one word: hack. Holtura is everywhere, hacks always, simplification, deterioration, bad ideas and missed opportunities. It is hard to believe what this is done in Carrent Gene. Betzda games already have a certain tactic that they adhere to: one step forward, two steps ago. Although there are already three.
Where are all these wonderful and just positive reviews about Fallout 4, dozens of game publications, no matter what? These games never caught up with their competitors by almost any parameters, but in the aggregate of their characteristics they managed to give pleasure. And this is the main paradox and my hypothesis.
